GRACE UNDER PRESSURE
Grace Under Pressure: has the courage to face of the impossible. Armed with a sound distinctly their own, they're ready to take the world by storm. It took 6 months for the band to find it's name. It was perfect, a phrase without true definition, a band without musical limitations.
Created in the summer of 2008, Grace Under Pressure was the phoenix from the ashes of Melissa's previous band, Haven. Teaming up with drummer, Kevin Mark, and guitarist Jesse Sligsby, the band is alive and kicking, ready to bring their music brand to the world. The voice, the grace, the sound, the pressure, it's the perfect marriage of crisp vocals and hard rock . Their original blend of music isn't without thanks to the member's influences: Rise Against, Dream Theatre, Sick Puppies, Three Days Grace, Tool, Heart, Coheed and Cambria and Andrew Llyod Webber. GUP is currently looking for a bass player to complete their rock trio but will be recording and performing ASAP so keep checking back and we'll keep you posted! Cheers!
